This page contains screenshots of the FrontView Configuration Utility as well as pictures of one VFD that is being driven by FrontView. The FrontView Configuration Utility can be used to configure your LCD or VFD for use in FrontView. FrontView supports handling button input for some displays. This feature can also be configured using the FrontView Configuration Utility. FrontView supports multiple sessions being active at the same time. The FrontView Configuration Utility can be used to configure what sessions have higher priority. The message that gets displayed on the LCD can be configured for each session. The FrontView Configuration Utility provides an easy place to do this configuration. FrontView uses the concepts of 'Global' and 'Session Specific' macros to configure what gets displayed. A macro editor is available which lets you specify what macros will be displayed for a session as well as what the default for each macro will be if Media Center doesn't supply a value. These pictures are of a VFD controlled by FrontView in Microsoft Windows Media Center.
